2021 Year in Review - Dallas Fort Worth Birth Photography
57 births…. WOW! I cannot believe this little business I dreamed of starting just over 5 years ago has grown to the point where 57 families invited me to document their most special of days. I still get chills each and every time I enter a birth space. I still smile from ear to ear when a baby is born. I still ooo and ahhh over all those just born newborn details, my heart still explodes watching two people become parents for the first time or the fifth time.
One of my clients recently asked me what my favorite moment was to document, what a great question. But truly I don’t think I have a favorite moment. Each moment is unique and touches my mama and artist heart in different ways. I love to document a laboring women, showing her just how strong she is. I strive to capture the anticipation and excitement in the moments leading up to new life entering this world. Of course “the moment”, when you meet the little person you’ve been dreaming of. There is also something so special about the quiet moments, when the hustle and bustle is over and everyone just cuddles up, soaking in that new baby bliss. It’s no secret that I adore wrinkly baby feet, so the newborn exam and all the baby details are always a favorite. Partner holding baby for the first time, sibling meetings, the list just goes on and on. This is what is so great about birth photography, its not just baby being born, its all the moments, big and small, freezing time so you can relive one of the most monumental days of your life.
